The Beta Rewards Phase is our next step in building a fair, performance-driven ecosystem where compute providers are rewarded not just for staying online, but for completing real AI workloads that power the future of decentralized inference.

Whether you’re running a browser node, a desktop rig, or a datacenter-grade GPU, every contribution matters. This rewards phase introduces dual earning mechanics: providers can earn credits through uptime and task completion, with both categories weighted dynamically to reflect the quality of compute and connectivity each provider offers.

Earning Through Uptime

To start, providers will earn credits for simply staying online. But not all uptime is equal. These base credits are adjusted using a GPU Quality Multiplier, ranging from 0.1x to 5x, reflecting the processing power of your device. This ensures high-end GPUs receive proportionally greater rewards for staying available, while still offering baseline incentives to lower-tier devices.

Uptime credits are calculated per session, meaning if your hardware changes, your multiplier updates immediately—only the time online with a given system spec will be rewarded accordingly. This keeps the network responsive and fair, encouraging upgrades without penalizing past contributions.

Earning Through AI Tasks

The core of Distribute.ai’s mission is to power real AI work across a decentralized provider network. That’s why the highest rewards are allocated to AI-related tasks, such as:

• Text-to-text inference (chat, summarization, Q&A)

• Text-to-image generation

• (Coming soon) Web-request-based AI jobs

Each successfully completed task earns 25 base credits, weighted by two performance factors:

• GPU Quality Multiplier (0.1x to 5x)

• Network Latency Multiplier (0.1x to 1x)

Together, these multipliers ensure that providers with faster, more reliable hardware and connectivity earn proportionally more per task. This system encourages continual improvement while keeping entry accessible.

Just like uptime, these multipliers are evaluated per request—so if you improve your system mid-cycle, your next task reflects that instantly.

Pro-Rata Distribution

At the end of each rewards season, credits will be converted into $DIS token allocations based on your share of total credits earned across the network. This ensures fair, pro rata distribution and prevents rewards from being dominated by raw task volume alone.

If 1% of total credits are yours, 1% of the reward pool will be too. This model balances scalability with fairness, rewarding both high-performance and high-availability contributors. Rewards pool size TBA.

Anti-Abuse & Slash Enforcement

We take integrity seriously. While the Distribute.ai network is open and permissionless, rewards are only granted to honest participants:

• More than one browser and one desktop node per machine will result in forfeited credits.

• Providers incapable of completing inference requests will be automatically slashed daily.

• All rewards are subject to verification—credits are never final until season close.

The team monitors provider behavior closely, and any sign of system gaming, fraudulent activity, or abuse will result in credit removal or slashing, with no appeal.

Transparency & Leaderboards

We’ll be publishing both weekly and all-time leaderboards, tracking the top providers by credit earned. These will reflect both uptime and task performance, giving visibility to the highest-contributing members of the network.

Leaderboards will be accessible via the Distribute.ai dashboard, giving you a clear sense of where you stand, how you’ve improved, and how close you are to top-tier seasonal rewards.
